Benylin Children’s 6+ Chesty Coughs is a medicine that will treat a chesty or a mucus cough. It works thanks to the active ingredient guaifenesin.
Guaifenesin is what is known as an expectorant, this is a drug that will reduce the amount of mucus or phlegm that is blocking the airways, making it easier to breathe and also cough up the remaining mucus or phlegm.

Preparation and Usage
This cough medicine is suitable to be used by children between the ages of 6-12.
Take two 5ml spoonfuls up to four times a day. Do not exceed four 10ml doses in a 24-hour timeframe.

Warnings
Do not exceed stated dose.
Do not give to a child under the age of 12 for more than five days, without the advice of a doctor beforehand.
Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine.
