Description: Brochlor 1.0% W/W Eye Ointment is formulated out of main active ingredient Chloramphenicol. This eye ointment treats acute bacterial conjunctivitis. The ointment works by restricting the growth of bacteria, allowing your body to fight off the infection. The ointment is suitable for treating infections of the eye or eyelid caused by various bacteria. It works by treating signs that include sore, red or inflamed eyes, sticky discharge or crust on the lids.
Usage Directions:
- Apply small amount of ointment in the affected eye/eyes
- Repeat the dose 3 to 4 times a day
- Continue using this ointment on your affected eye/eyes for approx. 5 days
Side Effects and Precautions:
- Application of this ointment may cause allergic reactions like irritation, burning stinging, itching, irritation and inflammation of the skin
- In case of any unknown reactions or prolonged side effects, stop application of ointment and consult doctor
