Co-Codamol Effervecent Tablets 8mg/500mg – 32

For the short term treatment of acute moderate pain when other painkillers have not worked.

• For headaches.
• Toothache.
• Period pains.
• Arthritic and rheumatic pains.

Dosage:
Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.

Adults and children over 12 years:
One or two tablets to be taken four times a day.
The dose must not be repeated more frequently than every four hours, and not more than four doses should be taken in 24 hours.

Co-codamol should not be taken by children below the age of 12 years, due to the risk of severe breathing problems.

Caution:
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not take for more than three days.
If the pain does not improve after 3 days, ask your doctor for advice
Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.
Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.

Note:
This medicine can make you feel sleepy.
Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel.

Each tablet contains:
Codeine Phosphate 8mg and Paracetamol 500mg.
