This ointment is a topical treatment for the eyes that works as an antibiotic. It treats bacterial infections on the outer surface of the eye, most of these are acute bacterial conjunctivitis.

Preparation and Usage
Wash and dry your hands before using. Remove the tube, ensuring that you do not touch the nozzle at any point, and then pull down the bottom eyelid and look upward. When doing this, make sure the tube does not touch any skin or the eye. Place the tube nozzle close to the eye and apply 1cm of ointment to the space between the eyelid and the eye. Then, close the eye for a short period. If you need to apply to both eyes, then repeat the applying process. Apply the ointment at night before going to bed. Only use it for a maximum of 5 days.
