Piriton Syrup is a medicine that is intended to be used to treat the symptoms associated with hay fever and other allergies. The active ingredient in the syrup is chlorphenamine maleate, which is an antihistamine that will treat the symptoms caused by an allergy, which include itchiness, redness, swelling, and irritation.

Other ingredients: Sucrose, Glycerol, Ethanol, Tingle flavour, Peppermint oil, Water, A mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl, Hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214 and E216) – as a preservative
Storage
Store below 25ºC. Protect from light. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Who is this suitable for?
Suitable for use by adults and children aged 1 and over.
Preparation and Usage:
The recommended dosage for this solution varies depending on the age of the user. The recommended dosages are as follows:
Children aged 1-2 – 1 x 2.5ml spoonful twice a day
Children aged 2-6 – 1 x 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours
Children aged 6-12 – 1 x 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours
Adults and children aged 12 and over – 2 x 5ml spoonfuls every 4-6 hours
